QUICK RINGS AND A BRACELET

(2-DAY WEEKEND WORKSHOP)


Description: Rings can be simple or complex, big or small. Did you ever want to see just how quickly they can be made? Students will learn to make rings in multiple styles as well as a simple linked bracelet. They will twist and ball wire, solder joints, set stones, and rivet to their heart’s content. Each student will leave class with at least 2 rings and a completed bracelet.

 

Level: Any, but basic sawing and fabrication skills are a plus.

Class Price: $215

Materials fee: $25 materials fee for all students. This includes metals to be used during class. Students who have had previous metals experience should bring their existing toolkits including: jewelers saw frame and blades (2/0), files, chasing hammer, center punch, pliers (round nose, flat nose, chain nose) sand paper, etc. Toolkits will be available to rent from instructor for $15/weekend.

Class Size: Minimum 3, Maximum 10
